Project Overview
We worked with allycent to enhance their blog by removing the troublesome custom CMS and switching to WordPress, for a more practical and manageable back end. The goal was to retain the simplicity of their previous site using the WordPress block editor, to ensure an easy and user-friendly experience for both the client and their audience.
Our Solution
We initially performed a comprehensive assessment of the client’s current site to understand its structure and capabilities. Our developers rebuilt the site using WordPress, making sure that all design components were in alignment with the original.
After we re-did the site in WordPress, we removed the unnecessary WooCommerce elements, streamlining the backend while retaining key functionalities. We also conducted thorough testing to confirm the new site works flawlessly before its launch.
The Result
The project was completed successfully within a month, staying within the lower spectrum of the client’s budget. The outcome is an easy transition to the client’s new site, using the more user-friendly WordPress CMS.
The blog has an impressive PageSpeed Score of 96 for performance, 100 accessibility, 100 Best Practices, and 100 SEO.
